Glebe House is an imposing house built
in early 1900, standing on its own Exclusive grounds. The Glebe is
situated mid-way between Cambridge and Norwich, on the A11, in
Elveden Village, close to Center Parcs. There is easy access and ample parking facilities. Guests may bring well behaved pets if they wish, for which there may be a small charge |

The Glebe offers king size, double, or twin bedded accommodation with en-suite facilities. Family groups can also be accommodated. A cot and high
chair are available for under 3's. Hair dryers, ironing, and free
wireless Internet are available for guest use. All rooms are spacious and
well equipped, with hospitality trays and TVs and are extremely
comfortable, having been decorated and furnished to a high standard.
Guests can relax and have a stroll through our beautiful gardens. |

Our full and varied breakfast menu may be enjoyed in our relaxing dining room and is served from 7 - 9 am on weekdays and 7.30 - 9.30 am at weekends, or may be arranged to suit our guests' schedules. Glebe House is an ideal location for
the busy traveller and holidaymakers alike, being close to Newmarket,
Cambridge, Ely, Norwich and the Norfolk Broads and only just over an
hour to the North Norfolk Coast. |

Locally, guests can explore Thetford
Forest, a haven for walkers, cyclists and naturalists.
Geographically Elveden sits centrally to the area known as Breckland,
renowned for its wildlife, landscape, and archaeological sites. With
Centre Parcs holiday village close by, The Glebe is an ideal
location for people wishing to visit friends or relations holidaying
there. The Glebe at Elveden is just three-quarters of an hour from
Stansted Airport and one and a half hours from London. The local
rail and coach stations are only 3 miles away.

There are also a number of local restaurants, all within easy
reach, including Elveden Estate Café Restaurant, open for daytime eating, just 100 metres from
our door.
The Glebe is 5 miles from High Lodge Visitor Centre in the heart of
Thetford Forest, an ideal location for Forest walks, cycle rides and "Go
Ape", a high wire forest adventure course.
Snetterton Race Circuit is just 12 miles from The Glebe, a short 15
minute journey by car.
DIRECTIONS:
- Join the A11 trunk road between Cambridge and Norwich.
- Elveden village is situated 3 miles south of Thetford on the main
A11.
- Continue straight on at the traffic lights at the B1106 junction in
Elveden.
- After 600 metres, turn left, through iron railings, onto a private
road, just past the Post Office (at night, look out for a ‘right-hand
bend’ sign on the main A11 and turn left 50 metres past it, onto the
private road).
- The drive to the Glebe is just ahead to the right and runs parallel
to the A11.
