B&B for mountain biking in Thetford forest
We stayed for one night before cycling the mountain bike trails of Thetford Forest. Great location just a few miles from the forest Lodge centre. This is a great B&B, friendly welcome, room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was excellent. The house is on an estate with a fantastic farm shop and cafe selling locally sourced produce. Lovely pub nearby for an evening meal. I can highly recommend Glebe Country House as a great base from which to explore walking and cycling in Thetford Forest.

very pleasant stay
Stayed at the "Glebe Country House" day before Valentine's Day and immediately on arrival made to feel very welcome by Deirdre, shown to our comfortable room, also welcoming and felt at home right away - only a short break but would definitely recommend the immaculate breakfast, lots of choice, and the hospitality very good indeed. Enjoyed this very much, lots of local info/restaurant info available and "highly" recommend "nimmi" indian restaurant whilst you stay around the area. Again - would return gladly and thank you to the "lovely host" - a beautiful establishment. (def. 5 out of 5 for us)THANK YOU

We were greeted warmly by our hostess for our one night stay and were shown a lovely room with all comforts. My husband was especially pleased that there was a shoe shining sponge available as he had yet again forgotten to polish his. The bed was very comfortable and after a good night rest we were treated on an excellent breakfast. Very impressed by the opportunity to have kippers. We will certainly go back there

The Glebe Country House
I have stayed here before and, as always, I was made very welcome along with my little dog.I stayed in a different room than on previous visits,but as before it was very comfortable and scrupulously clean. The breakfast choice had changed since I last stayed at The Glebe and I chose the delicious 'light' option of smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, along with the usual juices, fruit, toast etc.
A wonderful setting for this lovely period house which will, when the bypass is built, be very tranquil. I always enjoy visiting the 'Lifestyle' shops and cafe which are located at the back of the house in what I think was the coach house and stables to the house.

Recommended B & B
Excellent value for money, accommodation very comfortable, friendly, with lots of character.
Far nicer than local chain accommodation.

A good nights sleep
Travelling on business. Good location. Not too noisy. Very hospitable. Very comfy bed and excellent breakfast. Good value for money. Couldn't fault it.

Lovely Stay
A truly wonderful country house experience. We stayed in the Canada Room which was delightful. Very large room which included every comfort possible. Continental breakfast followed by a cooked breakfast of your choice from the menu, full English, kippers, smoked salmon with scrambled eggs, plus many more. We will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it.

As good as it gets
My wife and I were mightily impressed with the accommodation and the location. The breakfast was first rate and provided the tastiest bacon I have had for some time! We would recommend the Glebe and will re-visit.
